Yamaha Hydrogen Outboard

The launch of Yamaha’s hydrogen-powered outboard will be a historic release, as it is the first hydrogen-fueled power system. In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, Yamaha announced its plan to become carbon neutral in Scope 3 emissions by 2050. The hydrogen outboard is a major part of the brand’s plan to achieve this goal.
Like Yamaha’s land-based hydrogen engines, the hydrogen-powered marine engine will create motive combustion without CO2 emissions.
