Canadian marine fan manufacturer Caframo has introduced a new version of the Kona 817 low-draw weatherproof fan that’s designed for exterior use.
A watertight motor and rugged construction with extruded aluminum, UV-stabilized plastic and stainless fasteners, the Kona 817 is suitable for the wheelhouse, dash, a bridge or cockpit that are exposed to splash and spray. The three-speed fan draws only 0.21 amps at low, 0.26 at medium and 0.37 at high speed. The Kona 817 is available in white or black and comes with a cam-lock suction cup for portable use and a bracket for permanent mounting. MSRP is $119.99 (12V) and $139.99 (24V).
