Ray Collins is an award-winning photographer, and Armand Dijcks is a cinematographer. The two men have joined forces to create stunning imagery of ocean waves in short video clips called cinemagraphs.
Cinemagraphs are still photographs in which minor and repeated movements create a video clip. When published as an animated GIF or other video formats, they turn into an animation.
Using Collins’ stunning photos, Dijcks created hypnotizing cinemagraphs and then combined them into a short film.
