How to Enter our RITCHIE® Compass Giveaway on Facebook: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Internet access and valid Facebook account required to participate. Online entry through the Giveaway WebSite only (as defined below); no other means of submission will be accepted.
To enter, you must submit your Official Entry Form by visiting Sounding’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/soundingsonline, liking Sounding’s Facebook page, and completing the Giveaway Official Entry Form. You will obtain one (1) entry into the Giveaway for your Official Entry Form. Incomplete entries shall render the entry invalid. Giveaway begins June 1, 2012 and ends June 30, 2012.
You can only use one (1) Facebook account in connection with the Giveaway. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Giveaway Period. All entries must be actually received during the Giveaway Period, regardless of the date or time submitted.
No substitutions of Official Entry Forms will be accepted under any circumstances, except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules. Proof of submission is not considered proof of delivery or receipt of such entry. Furthermore, Sponsor shall have no liability for any entry that is lost, intercepted or not received by Sponsor. Sponsor is the official timekeeper for the Giveaway. All Official Entry Forms become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Eligibility: This Giveaway is only open to individuals who are 18 years or older at time of entry. This Giveaway is not open to any employees or their relatives who work for Active Interest Media or Ritchie and its affiliates. Prize: Ritchie’s® Navigator, model DNW-200 4 ½” mount compass. Retail price is $329.99.
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the person who submitted any entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an access provider, service provider, or other person or organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the account associated with the submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
Winner: Winner is responsible for reporting and paying any and all income, sales or excise tax that may be applicable to accepting the Prize; Sponsor is not responsible for and will not pay any such taxes. Sponsor will issue a 1099 to any Winner who is a resident of the United States.
Odds of Winning: Odds of being selected as eligible to win the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Many will enter, only one (1) will win. Sponsor cannot accurately predict the number of entries to be submitted in the Giveaway.
Winner Selection: The potential winner will be selected, by Sponsor, in a random drawing to be held on or about June 1, 2012 from all eligible and qualified entries received in accordance with these Official Rules. The potential winner will be notified by email within twenty (20) days of the drawing at the email address provided by the entrant at the time of Giveaway entry. Please check your email and spam filters. If a winner cannot be reached for any reason whatsoever after reasonable effort has been exerted, or if he/she is found to be ineligible, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner.
