Island Packet founder and Naval Architect Bob Johnson was searching for a personal launch that would be unique, economical and stylish. He collaborated with Nancy Frainetti, a fifteen-year boat industry veteran who at that time was working on an electric launch concept. Nancy welcomed Bob’s advice and design suggestions. Together, and with the expert craftsmanship and technology of Island Packet, they created the new L24 diesel-powered line of Launches. These offered the same level of quality that has made Island Packet Yachts America’s Cruising Yacht Leader.

WEE DRAM is equipped with a quiet fuel-sipping Yanmar engine with a conventional Vee-drive. She features luxurious lounge-style seating for up to 12 passengers, a teak table, wet-bar with sink, refrigerator, and sound system. Rare on a modestly-sized launch, WEE DRAM offers a fully private ‘pop-up’ style enclosed Head for the comfort of guests.
