Sean Russell and his daughter Sarah asked friends if they wanted to go cod fishing on Concepcion Bay off Newfoundland on Sunday, but with a 6 a.m. departure, there were no takers.
Their friends are probably regretting that decision. The Russells were treated to a spectacular breaching by two humpback whales who came clear out of the water and did matching 360-degree barrel rolls right in front of their boat.
Sean caught it all on video, including his daughter’s reaction. Sarah literally dropped her jaw.
