North Carolina boatbuilder Albemarle over the years has earned a well-deserved reputation for building some of the most capable sportfishing express boats on the planet.

So, you can imagine our excitement last week when the company unveiled its first dual console boat, the 27DC, at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

“Family time is important to us and we know our customers also value time well spent on the water fishing and exploring with their family and friends,” said an Albemarle representative at the launch event.

The standard engine setup on the 27DC is a pair of 200-hp Yamaha F200 4-stroke outboards. A pair of 250-hp Yamaha F250 4-strokes is an option. Top end with the base engines is about 41 knots.
