Off the California coast, college professor Koz Khosravani and his sailboat crew spotted a pod of dolphins. When they followed it, they glanced a hand lazily waving from the water. A 26-year-old naked woman was floating in the ocean three miles off the coast of Marina Del Rey.
After they pulled her aboard, they covered her in blankets and towels. Later they learned she had gone skinny dipping the previous night in Venice and had been swept out to sea. She’d been in the cold water for 12 hours. Koz said she barely had the energy to wave her hand once.
He had just purchased the boat, and this was the maiden voyage. He believes the dolphins led him to the woman.
