United Arab Emirates-based Enata Group has released a new foiling yacht called the Vatoz. The 32-foot foiler was designed to have low environmental impact and low fuel consumption and will foil five feet above the water.
The vessel is constructed of carbon fiber to save weight, for speed and efficiency. The Vatoz uses a hydrostatic propulsion system that combines twin 370-hp turbo diesel engines for a total of 740 hp. The Vatoz is expected to cruise between 18 to 35 knots and have a top speed of 40 knots.

At 20 knots the boat will have a range of 190 nautical miles, and 150 nautical miles at 30 knots.
“Every design feature of the project serves a purpose,” said Timur Bozca, the boat’s designer. “The main idea behind the Vatoz is to maximize dynamics inspired by the stingray. Beneath the clean surfaces and curved lines lies an aerodynamic masterpiece. Distinctive lines draw your eye across the front and out to the prominent wings.”

The wings are designed for ease of accessibility, as they provide a walkway to access the bow and provide protection from waves. The wings are also useful for storage of water toys like surfboards and paddle boards.
At the helm, the boat features ‘The Wingman,’ a fully integrated management system providing full control over the vessel, and egg-shaped helm seats for ergonomic support and comfort. The spaceship-like style of the Vatoz continues below deck to the main cabin where a skylight and large side windows provide natural light. For dining and entertaining the boat features a U-shaped seating area with a table, and a single head.
