Next week, manufacturers from around the world will debut new models at the Miami International Boat Show. One of them is Technohull, the Greek high-performance luxury RIB builder, which will showcase the Alpha 40 in its U.S. debut.
The 39-foot, 8-inch LOA Alpha 40 debuted in Europe last year. What sets the boat apart is that it cruises at 50 knots and has a top speed of 80 knots. With twin 500-hp Mercury Racing engines, the Alpha 40 blends a sleek aerodynamic carbon hardtop with expansive deck spaces and a cabin with a double berth and a separate head and shower below.
The deck can be configured according to owners’ preferences and inboard engines are an option. The Alpha 40 features a 3-stepped deep-V Dynastream hull. It has a 211-gallon fuel capacity and CE Cat B certification for up to 12 passengers.
“The Alpha 40 embodies our new design philosophy and has been an instant hit with boaters of all kinds since its official launch late last year,” says Gerasimos Petratos, CEO of Technohull. “The sophisticated layout allows for incredibly generous deck space, ensuring an ultra-comfortable stay on board, further enhanced by Technohull’s meticulous attention to luxury fit and finish. We can’t wait to see the reaction of U.S. boaters when they experience the Alpha 40 in person at MIBS.”
At MIBS, the Alpha 40 will be on display with three other Technohull models, including the flagship Alpha 50, which made its U.S. debut in 2024. If you can’t make it to MIBS, Technohull will also be showing off the Alpha 40 at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in late March.
