Boasting triple Yamaha outboards with a total of 1,350 horses, the Jupiter 40 is a sporty center console fish boat that’s equipped with many of the features active families are asking for in an upscale day boat. That includes a Seakeeper, reverse-cycle air conditioning and a good audio system.
During a test drive at the Miami International Boat Show, the 40 hit 56 knots with triple 450-hp Yamaha outboards. Owners can also opt for twin Mercury 600-hp motors or triple Mercury 400s. The 40 holds 500 gallons of fuel.
Belowdecks is a quiet, air-conditioned seating area that converts to a double berth. There is lots of headroom, along with a private head.
The foredeck has seating for multiple passengers, and much of it has stowage below.
