Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based builder Wellcraft launched two new models in the brand’s Fisherman series at FLIBS 2023. The 243 and 263 Fisherman were designed to improve on the success of the 242 and 262 Fisherman models and to better handle offshore waters.

Both new models feature a fully-bonded glass windshield that comes with power-operated vents. Both models also feature a fiberglass T-top, whose supports recess into the console to create more space around the console.

The helm station has been reworked to fit additional screens and more technology. Another enhancement is the lateral opening door to the cabin, and an accessories box that is integrated into the hardtop. Both models come with a 1-year subscription to SeaNapps, which allows boaters to get real-time updates on their engine hours and maintenance needs.

Aft of the helm seats is a “Cooler Cave,” which as the name suggests, is a storage spot for a cooler. There is also space for storing tackle and other angling equipment. The bow seating package offers forward facing armrests, and the transom seat has been reworked to make access to the bilge easier.

Details on power options and other specifications were not yet available on the Wellcraft website.
