MAS Products has introduced Bio-Solv, a 100-percent biodegradable, corn-based solvent that replaces Acetone or Xylene for cleaning or preparing surfaces that have to be painted or epoxied.
The company says the product is safe to use, noncarcinogenic and devoid of environmentally hazardous ingredients. It leaves no film residue when dried, won’t evaporate and is reuseable. Bio-Solv was developed in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Design for the Environment program.
