Airmar Technology Corp. now sells broadband transducers for the next generation of compressed high-intensity radar pulse fishfinders.

Paired with a broadband fishfinder with receive-signal processing, these transducers improve sensitivity and performance from current fishfinder technology, including target detail and resolution down to 10,000 feet and precise distinction among small, closely spaced fish. Airmar’s new CHIRP transducers automatically sweep from 28 to 210 kHz with no tuning necessary. MSRP for through-hull models ranges from $1,700 to $4,495.
