Seapilot’s updated app adds tidal prediction, closest point of approach (CPA) and electronic range and bearing line (ERBL). Tidal prediction lets you view the latest high and low tides, and scroll by time for predictions. CPA is a visual means of determining the collision risk of AIS targets, and ERBL helps to measure distance, and set clearance, from the vessel to any fixed point.
