Sunday morning on Aug. 30 delivered a welcome case of serendipity for two fishermen floating after their boat sank off the coast of Virginia Beach.
Every weekend dozens of charter fishing boats load up in the Rudee Inlet. Each captain takes his customers out in hopes of the big catch. On the charter boat Matador, the day turned out a little different.
His paying customers were awestruck,” Capt. Mike Bean told WAVY News. “They thought we were gonna go catch some dolphins real quick we ended up catching two humans instead.”
