Indiana-based Formula Boats has announced a new dayboat, the Formula 360 Crossover Bowrider.

Formula introduced its predecessor, the 350 CBR Crossover Bowrider, in 2013, but after 13 model years, the company thought it was time to cook up a new version. Formula says the new 360 CBR improves on the design, performance and layout of the 350 CBR.

According to the company, the 360 boasts an open bow with a single-level flush cockpit and a true stand-up cabin with overnight accommodations plus a spacious head compartment. The 360 has a rakish profile with a FAS3Tech ventilated stepped hull. The 360 CBR can be powered with twin 380- to twin 520-horsepower sterndrives from MerCruiser, Mercury Racing, or Ilmor. The company says an outboard version is in the works, which will be made available with triple 300-, 350- or 400-hp Mercury outboards, or twin Mercury 600-hp outboards.

The triple helm can feature up to two Raymarine Axiom XL 16 chart plotters, Mercury DTS with SmartCraft VesselView Joystick Piloting control, or Ilmor One-Touch PRO joystick control with Merlin display, illuminated waterproof accessory switches, and digital switching with chartplotter control. There are also twin inductive phone charger mounts and a Rockford Fosgate dash-mounted full-feature stereo remote control that delivers music through twelve 6.5-inch JL Audio multi-colored LED lighted 600-watt marine-grade speakers with a 200-watt lighted subwoofer.

The cockpit has contoured seating, including a U-shaped lounge to starboard, which includes a Yeti Tundra 35 cooler. Two dual-height Corian tables can be lowered for lounging and sunning. Portside, there is a double-wide lounge forward of the wetbar. There are six USB-A/USB-C charging ports and 24 beverage holders throughout the bow and cockpit. A 16,000 BTU cockpit air conditioner is an option.

A molded portside boarding door makes getting on and off easy. The molded cockpit wetbar to port features a Corian countertop with integrated sink, a pull-out stainless-front refrigerator and trash container. A 120-volt integrated cockpit grill and a 24-inch smart TV are options. The rear-facing convertible aft sun lounge with multi-position backrest provides an additional space to sun and overlooks the swim platform. An extended watersport swim platform is available on sterndrive engine packages.

The standard full-width fiberglass hardtop with powered glass sunroof provides shelter from the elements, as does the optional motorized SureShade canopy. The glass windshield walkthrough leads to a bow surround lounge with seating for up to seven. It can also be turned into a sun lounge with two dual-height Corian tables and standard filler cushions installed. It includes a molded-in cooler under the forward cushion and a built-in trash container. A bow shade is an option.

The cabin is entered through the centerline door at the helm. It has 6-foot, 2-inch headroom and includes a lounge, cedar-lined hanging locker, Rockford Fosgate AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo with full color display, phone/USB docking port and two 6.5-inch speakers. To port, the cabin features a galley with pull-out stainless-front refrigerator, brushed stainless microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a Corian countertop with concealed, in-counter wastebasket. A starboard galley unit with Corian countertop, concealed molded sink and wine bottle storage is an option as well.

Forward, the fully enclosed private head compartment is transverse-oriented and includes a molded vanity with Corian countertop, sink, shower with curtain, a Vacuflush head and a wireless charging mount. A full-size double berth with memory foam mattress is located aft, so there is no need to convert a lounge for sleeping. An 8,000 BTU air conditioner is also available.

The 360 CBR will be introduced at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
