Brunswick Corporation—parent company to brands including Boston Whaler, SeaRay and Veer—recently announced a new line of boats that, according to Brunswick President Aine Denari, will meet the unmet needs of its customers.

The new line is Navan, a series that Brunswick says will satisfy the growing demand for premium adventure family boats.

Navan will come to market with two models: the C30 and S30. Both designs are based on a twin-step hull that should allow for more stability and safety, as well as fuel efficiency while cruising, according to Brunswick. This hull design should make for softer landings when traveling at high speeds, a feature that is especially important for families traveling with young children.

The C30 is for daytime adventures, overnight stays and poor weather conditions. At 33 feet LOA, it offers a large bow sun lounger, three berths, a dinette, an electric grill, and an interior galley. Seating aft of the helm can be rotated forward for cruising or backwards for entertaining in the cockpit. Denari says her favorite features are the windows in the cabin. “The back window opens up all the way to give you a really nice open feel, which is really great for entertaining.” The C30 comes with a hardtop, and standard systems include Simrad electronics, dual digital dashboard screens, air-conditioning and more.

The S30 is Navan’s sporty, open model, offering similar features to the C30. The main difference is the open-air T-top with rocket launcher and rod holders that can be removed. The cockpit is arranged slightly differently from the C30, offering a bait-prep station and no galley. Belowdecks, the S30 has two berths and a single head. Optional equipment upgrades include an electric grill or stove, ice box, shower, TVs and more.

Power options are the same for the C30 and S30. Owners who want a single outboard can choose a 300-hp Mercury V8 Verado or 400-hp Mercury V10
Verado. Twin motors are available too: 225-hp Mercury V6s; 250-hp Mercury V8 Verados with optional joystick control; or twin 300-hp V8 Verados, also with optional joystick control.

Denari believes these boats are the solution for families that want to adventure safely, without sacrificing luxury. Navan’s models will debut in the U.S. at the 2024 Miami International Boat Show in February.
