Formula introduced the 350 Crossover Bowrider (CBR) in 2013, but after 13 model years the company thought it was time to cook up a new version. The company says the new 360 CBR improves on the design, performance and layout of its predecessor.

The 360 boasts an open bow with a single-level flush cockpit and a stand-up cabin with overnight accommodations plus a head compartment. The new model has a rakish profile and is built on a FAS3Tech ventilated stepped hull. The 360 CBR can be powered with twin 380- to twin 520-horsepower sterndrives from MerCruiser, Mercury Racing or Ilmor. An outboard version is in the works, which will be made available with triple 300-, 350- or 400-hp Mercury outboards, or twin Mercury 600-hp outboards.

The helm, where there’s a trio of seats, can feature up to two Raymarine Axiom XL 16 chartplotters, joystick control and digital switching.

The cockpit has contoured seating, including a U-shaped lounge to starboard, which includes a Yeti Tundra 35 cooler. Two dual-height Corian tables can be lowered for lounging and sunning. Portside, there is a double-wide lounge forward of the wetbar. There are six USB-A/USB-C charging ports and 24 beverage holders throughout the bow and cockpit. A 16,000-BTU cockpit air conditioner is an option.

There is a portside boarding door and a molded cockpit wetbar that features a Corian countertop with integrated sink and a pull-out stainless-front refrigerator. A 120-volt integrated cockpit grill and a 24-inch smart TV are options. The rear-facing convertible aft sun lounge with multi-position backrest provides an additional space to sun. An extended watersport swim platform is available on sterndrive engine packages.

The standard full-width fiberglass hardtop with powered glass sunroof provides shelter from the elements, as does the optional motorized SureShade canopy. The glass windshield walkthrough leads to a bow lounge with seating for up to seven. It can also be turned into a sun lounge with two dual-height Corian tables and standard filler cushions installed. It includes a molded-in cooler under the forward cushion and a built-in trash container. A bow shade is an option.

The cabin is entered through the centerline door at the helm. It has 6-foot, 2-inch headroom and includes a lounge, cedar-lined hanging locker, Rockford Fosgate AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo with full color display, phone/USB docking port and two 6.5-inch speakers. To port, the cabin features a galley with pull-out stainless-front refrigerator, brushed stainless microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a Corian countertop with a concealed, in-counter wastebasket. A starboard galley unit with Corian countertop, concealed molded sink and wine bottle storage is an option as well.

Forward, the fully enclosed private head compartment is transverse-oriented and includes a molded vanity with Corian countertop, sink, shower with curtain, a Vacuflush head and a wireless charging mount. A full-size double berth with memory foam mattress is located aft, so there will be no need to convert a lounge for sleeping. An 8,000-BTU air conditioner is also available.
