Making its U.S. debut this week, the Saxdor 460 GTC arrives at the Palm Beach International Boat Show as a clear statement of the Finnish builder’s ambitions in the 45- to 50-foot segment.

First unveiled earlier this year at boot Düsseldorf, the 460 GTC marks Saxdor Yachts’ move beyond its popular 400 series and into a more refined, all-season cruising platform. Visitors to the show—running March 25 through 29, 2026, along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach—will have one of the first opportunities stateside to step aboard.

At the heart of the design is a fully enclosed wheelhouse, a defining feature that broadens the boat’s usability well beyond fair-weather day cruising. The space is designed for comfort and practicality, with a large, social galley positioned within the wheelhouse and easy access forward to a convertible foredeck lounge. That arrangement blends indoor protection with open-air relaxation.

Aft, the 460 GTC leans into contemporary entertaining trends. Fold-down bulwarks expand the deck footprint at anchor, creating a terrace-like feel close to the water. It’s a layout aimed squarely at owners who want a versatile social platform.

Power comes from Mercury outboards, with configurations ranging from triple 300-hp engines to twin 600-hp motors. The builder says propulsion options offer a mix of efficiency and high-end performance.

The Palm Beach show itself provides an ideal stage for the debut. One of the largest boating events in the U.S., it draws tens of thousands of visitors and showcases hundreds of vessels, from center consoles to superyachts.

For Saxdor, the 460 GTC represents more than just a new flagship—it arrives at a pivotal moment for the company. Earlier this year, the builder was acquired by Malibu Boats, Inc., positioning Saxdor for accelerated global expansion, particularly in North America. The Finnish brand will continue to operate independently, but now with access to Malibu’s extensive manufacturing, distribution and dealer network. These resources are expected to amplify its reach in one of the world’s most competitive boating markets.
