One man was killed and another injured when a commercial fishing vessel collided Tuesday with a 16-foot recreational boat near Norfolk (Va.) Naval Station, authorities said.
Two watermen on the commercial boat, a 42-foot Chesapeake Deadrise, told investigators they were dealing with mechanical problems with steering hydraulics and didn’t see the other boat, a Larson powerboat.
