North Carolina’s Albermarle Boats will be adding a new Carolinian Fish model to its line of sportfishing vessels. The new model measures 45 feet LOA with a beam of 13 feet, 6 inches and a Carolina-style hull.

With a draft of 2 feet, 2 inches, the 45’s hull will be vacuum infused with vinylester resin and foam core. Standard power will come from triple 600-hp Mercury engines that are set up with a joystick piloting system. Electric trim tabs and bow thrusters will be standard. Forward of the helm is seating for three.

The 45 will be a combination of fishing features, seating for guests and an interior equipped for overnighting and extended cruising. Among the fishing features are a 130-gallon fish box in the cockpit, a 70-gallon transom livewell and a 20-gallon bow livewell. A fresh and raw water wash-down is standard on the 45.

Below decks, the main cabin offers an aft lounge that can be converted to a queen berth. Forward is a dinette with a table that can be electronically raised or lowered. There is a partial galley with an electric cook top and a single head with a separate stall shower.

Upgrades for the 45 range from extra rod holders to ice makers and electric reel outlets. Albemarle says pricing and more details will be released at a future date.
