Beneteau has launched an exciting new challenge for anglers across the globe: the Beneteau Fishing Trophy, an international digitized competition in which all saltwater fishermen can partake.

Participating in the competition is simple. Anglers need to download the Fish&You application for their smartphone and register for the Beneteau Fishing Trophy. Then, they will share photos of their best catches in the Beneteau FishingFacebook group, which currently has more than 1,000 members who are participating in the competition. Contestants can choose to share their fishing spots or keep them confidential.

The competition is taking part in three stages. The first two stages, which will run from June 13 to July 17 and July 20 to August 21, are open to everyone, whether or not they own a Beneteau boat. Each participant has a quota of five fish, which must be of legal size. The five largest fish will be counted, and anglers will receive awards from Beneteau, Garmin and Seanox.

The third stage of the competition will take place from August 24 to September 30. This stage is exclusively for Beneteau sail and powerboat owners, and it will be run as a photo competition on the theme of fishing. A panel of judges will select the best photos based on composition originality and aesthetic quality.

Anglers must note that this is a no-kill competition. Participants must release all of their catches.
