Australian boat builder Maritimo has just introduced its Black Edition, which adds new layout options and enhanced features to its enclosed flybridge motoryachts. The Black Edition is an optional upgrades package that offers a range of add-ons that owners can select when ordering certain models. These upgrades will be available on the enclosed flybridge M55, M60 and M600 Offshore Series.
The upgrades were born from customer reviews, which included requests regarding style, comfort and functionality.
The enhancements include a redesigned cockpit with a larger transom island and more space between the cockpit and swim platform. The upper cockpit has also been improved with an additional L-shaped couch, a folding table, and a wet bar with fridge/icemaker.
The aft galley features more counter and bench space, without losing space for the hot plates, oven and storage spaces. A consolidated fridge/freezer allows for an overhead cabinet above the counter. An optional feature is a wine fridge inside the island bench or beneath the stairs to the port side of the galley.
The enclosed flybridge in the Black Edition will feature a low-profile dash with redesigned multifunction and engine screens. A fully electric helm seat is also new. The forward deck has a larger sun pad with adjustable backrests, dual drink holders, and hand grabs on each side. An additional forward facing lounge adds even more seating.
The propulsion systems across the new Black Editions Maritimos remain the same. The Black Edition models will launch this May in Australia, followed by their U.S. debut in October at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
