A boat exploded Friday at the Noank (Conn.) Shipyard, resulting in injuries to one person.
The boat was fully engulfed in flames in its berth at Dock C when police, fire and medical personnel arrived around 7:30 a.m., according to a report in the The Day. One person, identified as John McCabe, was injured and taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
