Two men were rescued by the Coast Guard after their sailboat had mechanical difficulties and they became stranded in a marsh off Fortescue, N.J., over the weekend.

The Coast Guard received a call at 8:25 p.m. Sunday and informed that two men were stranded on a marsh after the vessel — Leo II — became disabled.

An MH-65 dolphin helicopter was dispatched with a crew from the USCG Air Station in Atlantic City in response to the distress call.

The Coast Guard praised the sailors for being prepared.
