A search-and-rescue crew from Coast Guard Station Islamorada, Fla., rescued three boaters on the overturned hull of their 18-foot vessel five miles off the coast of Islamorada on Wednesday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Key West received notification from a good Samaritan who observed a red flare in the vicinity of Alligator Reef Light off the coast of Islamorada.
