The crew of a Cambodian-flagged container ship were rescued Wednesday after the ship sank in a monsoon off Phuket, Thailand.
The Sinaran Andaman reported engine failure and was unable anchor and a loss of power, which disabled the vessel’s communication equipment.
The ship ended up broken on the rocky shoreline.
