The captain of a Gloucester, Mass.-based lobster boat and four others are safe on land following a harrowing experience in a storm nearly 200 miles southeast of Nantucket, Coast Guard officials said Saturday.
The crewmembers aboard the Michael & Kristen found dry land around 11 a.m. Saturday, days after their boat became disabled last Wednesday and was drifting among turbulent seas and icy conditions.
