A boat fire in Massachusetts’ Nantucket Harbor sent thick black smoke billowing into the air Saturday afternoon.
The Coast Guard said the fire broke out on a 26-foot private boat and started in the valve thrusters. No one was on board at the time, the Coast Guard said.
The harbormaster and local fire crews extinguished the blaze.
The fire appeared to be out by 5:45 p.m., according to witness photos from the harbor.
