A nautical group that calls itself Poseidon Cooks is starting a contest with the challenge to create the best single-burner meal.
The idea is to collect the best idea for a single-burner meal, remembering that a galley cook has limited storage. Cooks are to start with raw ingredients and the meal has to be capable of being served at a single sitting.
Deadline for entries is Dec. 31.
