From Aug. 8-11, the Marblehead (Mass.) Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the historic seaport town’s maritime heritage by presenting the second annual Marblehead Maritime Festival.

The festival has a lineup of maritime festivities including two days of classic yacht racing, sailing aboard the schooner Ardelle, maritime exhibits, historic tours, live entertainment, kayaking and many family friendly activities.

On Aug. 10, the town of Marblehead has reserved the Philip T. Clark Landing on Marblehead Harbor in the center of the historic downtown for exhibits by local and visiting maritime-related businesses. The town is inviting interested parties to sell maritime-related merchandise and distribute promotional literature for a small fee.
