It’s the first day of the 2023 Newport International Boat Show and this year’s lineup boasts a broad variety of boats and gear. Here are some of the new models making their debut at this year’s show in downtown Newport, Rhode Island.
315CC Everglades Boats

This new center console is designed for a serious angler. Powered by twin 400-hp V10 Mercury engines, the 315CC cruises at 43.6 mph and tops out at 56.3 mph. Aft seating, a chaise lounge forward with storage and a configurable bow area provide seating for multiple passengers. The 315CC uses recycled plastics in the hull structure.
Hood 26E

Making its international debut, builder Hood Yachts introduces its first fully electric center console. The 26E is made of carbon fiber allowing for a solid yet light boat. The 26E is environmentally friendly, according to the builder, and quiet while running. Hood’s current lineup offers boats ranging from 26 to 57 feet.
S-310 SC Solara

The S-310 from Solara is a dayboat designed to be priced competitively and “turnkey,” as it’s offered with a good list of standard equipment. The coupe-style boat is powered with twin Yamaha F300 outboards. Standard features include twin Garmin chartplotters, Bluetooth stereo, auto-leveling Lenco trim tabs, a Helm Master and more. Whether fishing, cruising or overnighting, the S-310 SC can accommodate many needs.

J Craft 42 Torpedo
From Swedish boat builder J Craft, the 42 Torpedo makes its American debut at the 2023 NIBS. The Torpedo is hand-built; the result of over 9,000 hours of man labor, according to the company. Owners can customize everything from the hull color to the hardware.
Hyfoil 28

From Hyfoil Marine, the Hyfoil 28 is a RIB that uses hydro-foiling wings for a smoother ride. The 28 can accommodate up to 14 passengers, cruises at 35 mph and maxes at 70 mph. Owners can opt for gas or electric power.
Classic 15 Wolfeboro Boats

New Hampshire-based builder Wolfeboro Boats will be displaying its Classic 15, a center console with a refreshed take. The sleek and simple 15 is finished with hydraulic steering, an integrated fuel tank, JL audio system, interior lighting and a sun deck. Price starts at $34,999.
