Regulator Marine said it added SeaStar Solutions’ Optimus Electronic Power Steering as a standard feature on 2017 models launching this summer.
The system will be on models that range from the Regulator 23 to the Regulator 34SS, including the all-new Regulator 31.
“With SeaStar, steering is virtually effortless, and the fact that you can literally plug the autopilot system in without dealing with extra pumps and wiring is a real winner for us — and for our customers!” Regulator president Joan Maxwell said in a statement.
Regulator said the system will complement its reputation for comfort and stability in any offshore condition.
