Riviera will introduce its new 4300 Sports Express to the U.S. market this fall at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 4300 joins the Australian builder’s Sport Yacht collection.
“This is a luxury motor yacht with a great sense of fun,” said Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst in a statement released by the company. “She’s versatile, easy to handle, and made for people who want to maximize every moment on the water.”
The boat is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS drives. It comes standard with 440-hp IPS600s; more powerful 480-hp IPS650s are an option. Either package delivers a top speed over 30 knots and the added benefit of joystick docking and maneuvering.
Built for coastal cruising, the 4300 has an LOA of 45 feet, 6 inches, a beam of 14 feet, 7 inches, and a draft of 4 feet 2 inches. There’s room for five people to sleep aboard. Accommodations include a forward master stateroom with island berth, private entry and handcrafted cabinetry, and a guest stateroom aft with a double and a single berth. A full head with separate shower is located between the two.
Also on the accommodations level is the galley with fridge and freezer, convection microwave, induction cooktop and optional dishwasher. Opposite is a lounge area with TV and drinks cabinet. The accommodations level is accessed through a waterproof companionway door, which allows the entire deck to be hosed down.
The main entertainment zone is what Riviera calls the sports deck—a covered cockpit area with electric sunroof, L-shaped lounges, drop-down TV and table that converts to a daybed.
A new boarding platform is hydraulic and submersible, so it’s ideal for launching water toys. The transom includes a built-in barbecue station and a locker that’s deep enough to stow stand-up paddleboards.
The helm features a pair of flip-up bolster seats, a curved glass windscreen, and touchscreen electronics that display camera feeds for the anchor, engine room and transom. Power management and digital switching are handled via CZone. The boat is offered with lithium iron phosphate batteries and Sentinel remote monitoring.
“Boating is all about enjoying that special place and sharing family time together; to meet up with friends, relax, explore, swim, snorkel or paddleboard,” said Longhurst. “This is where the Sports Express excels. It allows exceptional access to the water for your maximum enjoyment.”
