After 235 days at sea, Kristen Neuschafer arrived in the French port of Les Sables-d’Olonne taking first place in the around-the-world Golden Globe Race. Neuschafer has always had a penchant for adventure and left home as a teen to explore the world from the Arctic to Africa by bicycle. Deciding to sail around the world solo was just her latest adventure.
