On Sunday morning, three boaters got very lucky after their 25-foot boat started taking on water three miles off the coast of New Jersey in Long Branch.

The Coast Guard deployed a 47-foot motor lifeboat from the Manasquan Inlet station and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from the Atlantic City station. A rescue swimmer was lowered from the helicopter to help the three passengers into the lifeboat. They were then safely transported to Shark River Marina.

All three boaters were wearing life jackets, and there were no injuries reported. According to Petty Officer Stephen Lehmann, the owner will salvage the boat. You can watch a video of the rescue below.
