When rough water rolls in, the U.S. Coast Guard sends out crews to practice. Hurricane Jose’s brush with New England brought 6- to 10-foot seas with it, and the snotty conditions provided an opportunity for a crew from Coast Guard Station Cape Cod Canal in Sandwich, Massachusetts, to run man-overboard and other critical drills.
