A staple of American boating since the 1960s, Bertram faced a difficult outlook in the 1990s. Today, under Italy’s Gavio Group, the builder has a new chief executive, Peter Truslow, a new plant in Florida and plans for another yacht, the Bertram 60, which is expected to debut in the winter of 2018.
