Memorial Day coincided this year with the 100th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s birth.

Kennedy was a lifelong sailor, and one of his boats — the 25-foot Wianno Senior Victura —is kept at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston. The boat, which was a source of refuge and happiness for Kennedy over three decades, recently underwent a restoration.
