Here’s a great video that makes us wonder whether we’d have the nerve to be submerged in a shark tank with a goliath great white predator circling awfully close to our only protection.

The clip is from a Discovery Channel documentary filmed off Guadalupe Island, Mexico. You can see the extremely brave (or foolish?) diver in the cage give the shark a high five by touching one of its fins as the 20-footer passes.

The shark is believed to be at least 50 years old and researchers named it Deep Blue, according to Britain’s Daily Mail.

National Geographic says great whites grow to 15 feet and usually weigh about 5,000 pounds, so this one is a keeper.
