We found a short and not-so-sweet video that shows the hazards of riding a motorcycle along the edge of a wharf.
A little digging revealed that the video is from 2012 and was shot as a test ride of a new Yamaha cycle by a French motor journalist. One of his saddlebags apparently hits a post, sending him veering over the edge — and onto a docked boat.
Laurent Cochet writes for the magazine Moto Journal and his editors were more than happy to post their hapless scribe’s blunder.
Cochet suffered a few bruises and a sprained finger. The bike fared far worse.
