The documentation on a heralded largemouth bass caught in July in Japan has arrived at the IGFA headquarters in Dania Beach, Fla., for pending world record recognition.
It could tie the current 77-year-old world record set by Georgia’s George Perry in 1932 – long considered the “Holy Grail” of bass fishing.
