Yamaha Marine Group announced today it reengineered its YamahaOutboards.com website for mobile users to offer a more optimized experience on the go.

“We continue our commitment to provide Yamaha consumers and dealers with an even better online experience and that includes our mobile community,” Yamaha Marine advertising group manager Frank Wilhelm said in a statement. “Mobile and tablet traffic to the website have steadily increased, so the need was clear to provide information in a more streamlined and mobile-friendly format.”

The Yamaha Outboards mobile-optimized website includes cleaner graphics and copy. The website’s design is responsive, so the website scales appropriately to whatever screen size is in use.

These features greatly reduce the need for pinching, panning, scrolling and zooming.
