Last year, Kadey-Krogen announced its new motoryacht company: Summit Motoryachts, which is meant to pair the livability of the parent company’s vessels with a bit more speed than traditional cruisers. The company’s flagship model is the Summit 54, and it recently hit the water in its first sea trial.
The 58-foot yacht has an impressive range; it can travel 330 nautical miles at 23 knots and tops off at 26-knots. Its hull is designed by Michael Peters and interior features by Espinosa Yacht Design and interior designer Katie Astras. The vessel features three staterooms and fore, aft and helm decks. It has room for a tender which is launched by hydraulic crane.
Hull No. 1 will be at the Palm Beach International Boat Show from March 26-29. Watch the footage from its sea trial below.
