Highfield Boats will introduce two new rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) next month, expanding its fiberglass-hull lineup with the debut of the Escape 650 and Escape 750. The models will be unveiled during the company’s Dealer & Media Day event in Cadillac, Michigan.

The Escape Series represents a U.S.-focused initiative for the builder, which opened its Michigan facility in 2023. The boats are produced with fiberglass hulls molded domestically and then rigged and outfitted at the Cadillac plant.

Both models feature 26-degree deep-V hulls designed to perform in a range of conditions, from choppy open water to coastal bays and lakes.

The Escape 650 measures 23 feet, 6 inches, and can be powered by either a 225- or 250-horsepower outboard. The larger Escape 750 extends to 26 feet, 6 inches, and is available with 250- or 300-horsepower motors. Fully rigged, both are projected to reach top speeds in the 50-mph range.

The designs share contemporary styling, optional hardtops that provide shade without limiting deck use, and standard arches for watersports. Seating arrangements emphasize comfort. Dual helm seats with flip-up bolsters are complemented by cockpit seating—the Escape 650 has an aft bench, while the 750 features a rear-facing seat to create a conversation area. Both models have bow seating and sunpads, with the 750 incorporating a standard windlass.

Highfield Boats, founded more than a decade ago, has become one of the largest RIB builders worldwide. With headquarters in Weihai, China, and growing U.S. operations in Michigan, the company offers a portfolio that includes aluminum-hull Sport, Classic and Jet RIB series in addition to its expanding fiberglass range.
