For more than 30 years, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism has held boating flings to celebrate the beauty and attractions the islands have on offer. The equivalent of a Bahamian road trip, but by boat, the flings explore the beaches, crystal-clear waters and authentic Bahamian cuisine. To do so, the Ministry of Tourism provides opportunities for boaters to safely cruise to the Bahamas from South Florida.
What makes this year even more special is that The Bahamas celebrates its 50th Anniversary of Independence on July 10. The remaining flings to Bimini will be held on July 27-30 and 20-23, and there will be an extended fling to The Exumas from July 6-16.
There is a 30-boat limit and dockage spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. Minimum boat length is 22 feet, and there is a $75 registration fee.
