A 40-foot whale shark was found dead offshore about 93 miles from the Pakistani fishing port of near Karachi, so a local fisherman brought the fish in, according to the Express Tribune newspaper.
But it was worth the effort. The dead shark was sold for 1.7 million rupees ($18,750).
