A fire that erupted Tuesday morning at Canada’s St. Clair Township marina is expected to result in millions of dollars in damage losses.
A storage building housing more than 65 boats and at least four vehicles was engulfed in flames when firefighters from the Port Lambton and Becher stations arrived at St. Clair Boathouse, The Observer newspaper reported.
Every available firefighter from the township’s five stations was called to Old River Road to control the blaze. A fire boat from Clay Township, Mich., also assisted.
Officials said there were no injuries.
