Apparently abandoned boats off Cheboygan, Mich., are now surrounded by ice – but the local Coast Guard is keeping an eye on them.
On Tuesday, environmental cleanup crews began preparing for when the ice melts, because the Coast Guard doesn’t want a repeat of what happened this summer when two separate oil leaks came from the vessels.
The bill will go to the owner of the three boats.
